The design team of Ryan Shutz and Scott Winget are knocking out some outstanding trails in Erie!


Ryan Schutz is an expert in trail planning and user management that has consulted for over 100 communities in North America. Ryan’s projects include new trail design on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, redesigning the Leadville Trail 100 race course to include singletrack trails, and trail planning for mountain bike use in Rocky Mountain National Park. Ryan’s first large project was to lead the planning and construction of Quiet Waters Bike Park in South Florida, one of the first legal bike parks on public property in the nation. He has since consulted on 30 bike parks in the U.S. and Canada.

scottScott Winget is an up and coming rock star trail technician in Boulder. Scott has been a designer on projects at Heil Valley Ranch, the Canyon Link trail, and the Benjamin trail at Betasso Preserve.
