Calling for help!
We need 45 volunteers
ESA is making a big push to cut in the last trail on the Sunset West property. Our original design calls for one more stretch between the two Coal Creek path entrances. The lower ‘commuter’ line has been flagged for a long time and has already had a good share of traffic. Come out in two weeks and help us make it an official trail. Once complete, the Sunset West trails will measure over two miles long.
Saturday November 23 at 9:00 am
Mark your calendars. In less than two weeks we will be out there with a large group of crew leaders and tools. Come prepared for three hours of work. You’ll need gloves, long pants, boots, and water. You might even need a coat and warm hat.
You like the trails, right?
We’ve seen you out there with your kids or ripping hot laps in the cool air. We have talked to a lot of you in person. You all said you want to get involved. This is your chance. No special skills are needed and building trails is incredibly fun! Come learn a thing or two about natural paths and contribute the awesomeness we’re building in Erie.
Weather is a factor
Everyone knows Colorado’s weather is schizophrenic so we are preparing to make a go/no decision as the date approaches. Stay tuned to our website, and facebook page for updates on the decision to postpone. If everything holds up as it has been, we’ll be out there in short sleeves.
We need a count of who’s coming so, be a friend and RSVP to the build event on Facebook. Don’t have a Facebook account? Then send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to indicate your attendance. It really helps. Thanks!
